We are delighted that the National Centre for Computer Education has confirmed E2BN as a Regional Delivery Partner. E2BN will be working with NCCE to drive excellence in computing education across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Norfolk, Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, and Leicestershire.
Similar support will be provided to schools in; Hertfordshire, Essex, Suffolk, Central Bedfordshire, Bedford Borough, Milton Keynes and Luton by our colleagues at the University of Hertfordshire.
As an NCCE Regional Delivery Partner, E2BN will be part of the national network supporting the work of the NCCE, ensuring teachers have access to a suite of relevant, inspiring and effective CPD opportunities, covering practical and theoretical aspects of teaching computing.
Drawing upon our local expertise E2BN will provide a range of CPD opportunities for all teachers with a particular focus on teachers in schools in category 5 and 6 Local Authority Districts. Teachers from schools in other LAD categories are also invited to attend the CPD sessions.
The National Centre for Computing Education’s vision is for every child in every school in England to have a world-leading computing education. A comprehensive package of support has been developed to ensure young people are taught the digital skills they need to thrive economically and socially and maintain the country’s position as a leading global digital economy.
We will be running courses for primary and secondary teachers across all key stages, supporting teachers regardless of their level of computing knowledge.
