Improve Computing at your Primary School with Funded CPD

Would you like to improve computing at your school?

For many teachers, the computing curriculum remains something of a challenge. Few of us studied the subject at school or University and effective CPD has been scarce.

But all this is about to change.

The Government has funded the NCCE (National Computing Centre for Education) to provide support and training for primary class teachers and secondary computer science teachers.

For most schools, this training will be free and accompanied by a bursary.

We are currently offering the following face-to-face courses in Nottinghamshire, Peterborough and Lincolnshire (Course dates in Cambridgeshire and Norfolk TBA)

  • Outstanding computing at KS1 (2 days)
  • Outstanding computing at KS2 (2 days)
  • Primary Programming and Algorithms

For schools in Category 5 or 6 local authority districts training will be free and will be accompanied by a bursary. Find out if your school is in a Category 5 or 6 area here

Teachers from other schools may attend for £35 per day
