Netmedia's Learning Platform

E2BN have entered a five-year agreement with Netmedia Education to supply a Learning Platform to all teachers’ in the region.
The Learning Platform of choice for today’s schools
Trusted by more than 1200 schools within E2BN and over 6000 schools nationally, the Netmedia Learning Platform provides a flexible answer to meeting the Government’s agenda for personalising learning.
Our Learning Platform is a collection of tools that support administration, planning, teaching and personalised learning. This web-based solution provides anytime, anywhere access to all information and resources contained within the system taking learning beyond the classroom.
A comprehensive training and support programme and partnerships with award-winning content providers such as Espresso Primary are available.
What does this agreement mean to me?
As part of this agreement we are pleased to offer all E2BN teachers’ free access to the Netmedia Learning Platform. Our user-friendly service gives teachers the opportunity to create, manage and share information, learning resources and content between teachers, pupils and the whole school community both within schools and across their Local Authority and the E2BN region.
Our Learning Platform consists of:
• MyDesktop – A personalised environment for daily administration and management tasks – the entry point of our Learning Platform
• MyClasses – Resources and tools to enhance the planning and delivery of lessons – the central point for supporting teaching and learning
• MyPortfolio – An area for teachers and students to create, store and showcase work – their own personal space on the web
• MyMail – A fully integrated web mail service

What do schools within E2BN say about Netmedia?
“The ease of usability of the Netmedia Learning Platform means it is likely that its growth within school will continue and pupils get excited when they know they are going to be working on the LP. A significant obstacle with the implementation of any Learning Platform is that people want to run before they can walk and it is getting them to learn how to use the skills and tools properly before rushing ahead that has been a significant contributor to the success of the Learning Platform within our school.”
