JISC Collection Workshop

JISC Collections for Schools:
Online Subscription Resources Workshop.
Please note change of date to: 8th July, St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge
Background:
From April 2008, JISC Collections for Schools (www.jcs.nen.gov.uk) will offer all UK schools the opportunity to benefit from nationally-negotiated terms for a range of specially-selected and high quality online subscription services - from newspaper archives and image databanks to invaluable resources covering history, science, art and music, modern languages and much, much more.
In this way, the JISC Collections team would like to give some background into the aims, objectives, subscription models and pricing structure involved in the project, but would primarily like to allow some of the publishers of submitted online resources the opportunity to work through and demonstrate the online subscription resources licensed for the launch of the project.
