Success for Local School in News Competition

Local schools do very well in Making the News Competition. The Awards Ceremony will occur on Stand M45, at BETT 2007, Olympia, London on the 10th January, 2007. Come and support them. St Marys school, (St Neots, Cambridgeshire) swept the board in their age range, claiming seven 1st places and three 2nd places, reflecting a very high standard of journalism. This is perhaps due to the fact that they use Making the News daily and have built up a lot of expertise right across the school. A typical winning entry is Best field trip - see link at the bottom of this page.
Other schools that have done particularly well from the East of England region, with strong competition from across the UK, include Priory school, St Edmunds, Suffolk and elearning@Luton, CLC. All winning entries can be found on the home page of MTN. For further information about the MTN Competition, please see the attached MTN Competition Press Release.
