Russell Prue looks forward to the E2BN Conference

I am delighted to be able to tell you that I have been asked to come and support the brilliant E2BN Annual Conference in Wyboston on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th June 2009.
This event is uniquely free for delegates and represents an unprecedented opportunity to meet, share and engage with educators and ICT professionals. Building on the success from last year I know that we will be seeing some innovative uses of ICT and having lots of opportunities to share our experiences with each other.
As well as hosting and introducing the day I will also be presenting lots of short and informal demonstrations featuring top tips on how to get more from your ICT investment. Last year I introduced the conference to Live School Radio with some fabulous equipment from Clyde Broadcast and some schools have already invested in this equipment and have started to make excellent radio programmes with their pupils. This year I will be broadcasting live from the conference venue on Tuesday 23rd June at 4.00pm with a very special live outside broadcast "Learning & Teaching in the C21st Show" featuring content and contributions from the day. The show will be available to listen live from www.andertontiger.com/radio and again afterwards as a podcast from the same site and from inside iTunes. I will be bringing my complete radio studio with me and the organisers have arranged for me to have a room as a radio studio and colleagues are invited to drop in for a quick chat and to see the equipment being used.
There is nothing like the excitement of making a live radio show, collaboration, teambuilding, higher level thinking and creative problem solving skills are vital for survival in the 21st century. Come and listen to some of the live shows that I have broadcast with young people this term.
