E2BN recently attended the Norfolk ICT Conference in Norwich 11th and 12th March at the John Innes Centre. This year's focus was on the role of ICT in delivering transformation, opportunities and challenges.

292 delegates from 185 schools across Norfolk were joined with colleagues from Children's Services in attending this year's ICT in Schools conference which was opened by Fred Corbett and Paul Fisher respectively. Delegates were the first to be introduced to the Norfolk e-pyramid and the e-safety guidance policy toolkit.

The launch of the Norfolk e-pyramid outlined Children's Services transformation strategy and explained to Norfolk schools what steps are involved to deliver 21st century learning to their pupils.
More information on the Norfolk e-pyramid and other conference inspirational themes can be acquired by visiting the conference website - see below for details.

E2BN were joined by some Year 6 pupils from Sheringham Primary School, Norfolk. They had a great time using our Discovery Box learning resource to create presentations about the conference. As well this they interviewed John Davitt. John is a writer, broadcaster and education technology specialist. He has worked in the education sector for the last twenty-five years as an English teacher, senior manager and regional adviser with the EU Flexible Learning Project.
