iPad CPD day for primary school teachers and leaders.

"A trip to the countryside …themed iPad CPD day for primary school teachers and leaders.

This will be an immersive day looking at outstanding teaching and learning with iPad across the curriculum including English, Maths, Science, computing, Geography and more. Delegates will experience a range of activities, themed around a ‘trip to the countryside’, that can be taken back to school immediately and adapted for use straight away. Assessing, collaborating and collecting in work from the iPads will all be addressed in this training session. There will be a focus on uses of iPad that are proven to impact on learning. Delegates will need to bring an iPad with at least iOS 9.3 on and will be sent an App list when signing up.

The session will run from 9.30am  until 3 pm on 21st March 2017 at the E2BN Office, Unit 1 Saltmore Farm, New Inn Road, Hinxworth, Hertfordshire, SG7 5EZ 

The day will cost £99 per person for E2BN Member schools and £120 for non-members. A light lunch and tea and coffee will provided.

The session is being run by Christian Turton from iTeach, Christian has over 16 years of using Apple in the classroom. Christian has worked with thousands of learners and hundreds of teachers on projects including Challenge Based Learning workshops, 1:1 iPad and Mac deployments. As an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ teacher, he has shared his expertise with others through being a specialist teacher, Deputy Head at elearning@luton, a local authority Senior Teaching & Learning Consultant, an Apple Distinguished Educator and Apple Education Trainer.
