With 'Anti-Bullying' month in November, fast approaching, E2BN and eCadets are proud to launch the exclusive ‘Win with E-Safety’ offer which supports E2BN schools and pupils to learn and communicate safely online.
E2BN, The East of England Broadband Network, are pleased to announce that they will pay the first year subscription fee to eCadets, on behalf of all schools who have their broadband and/or membership with E2BN.
The ‘Win with E-Safety’ offer means our E2BN school members are entitled to yet another benefit this offer is available on a first-come, first-served basis to E2BN schools.
This offer is valid for schools who have E2BN membership and/or E2BN broadband.
What is eCadets?
eCadets is recognised as the best online-safety pupil empowerment solution, within the UK, winning the ‘Nominet’ and ‘Internet Service Providers’ awards for making the internet a safer place.
eCadets is used across the education sector by learner’s aged 3-18-year-olds. The scheme involves an online interactive platform built by teachers and police to deliver the highest level of collaborative pupil-led learning.
The eCadet scheme has a tiered structure for schools, which includes:
1, mini eCadets: nursery to year 2
2, eCadets: year 3 to 6
3, senior eCadets: year 7 to 12
Pupils within the school, are led by a team of eCadets, who take the lead for keeping friends safe online with the structured cross-curriculum scheme.
There is very little staff time required with the structured scheme and the eCadet Head Quarters (HQ) will support and empower your eCadets through their unrivalled instant messenger service, to be the specialists that classmates can go to with questions about the internet, online games, and social media.

Terms & Conditions of the offer?
Schools who have E2BN broadband and/or membership are entitled to one year’s free eCadet membership and the second year half price (should you choose to renew).
If your school no longer uses E2BN for your broadband or E2BN membership has expired, the offer will be withdrawn.
